Arrive at Marble Mountains, a group of five limestone & marble hills symbolizing the five natural elements. Wander through peaceful pagodas, hidden caves & scenic viewpoints overlooking Da Nang & the coast. At the base of the mountains, visit Non Nuoc stone-carving village, a centuries-old community where local artisans create intricate sculptures & marble art using traditional techniques.

Continue to Cam Thanh Coconut Village near Hoi An, often called the “Southeast inside the ancient town.” Glide through the water coconut forest in a round basket boat, watch locals perform fun boat-spinning tricks. You also can see a traditional net-throwing demonstration or try paddling the basket boat yourself, an enjoyable hands-on experience in the middle of nature.

Next, head to the UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its well-preserved architecture & colorful lanterns. Walk through quiet alleys, explore historic houses, temples & assembly halls that showcase the town’s mix of Vietnamese, Chinese & Japanese influences.

As dusk falls, see Hoi An transform into a glowing wonderland of lanterns. You have free time to troll through the night market for handmade crafts or take a short boat ride on Hoai River to watch floating lanterns drift across the water – one of the most picturesque moments in Vietnam. Later, enjoy a dinner featuring Hoi An’s signature dishes, such as Cao Lau or white rose dumplings, at a local restaurant.
